Specification Review
industrial juice pasteurizer
Before selecting a factory for an industrial juice pasteurizer, resolve how pulp, acidity and particles change holding, plate gap and CIP, and how diversion and differential-pressure conditions will be monitored on that juice duty. Industrial Pasteurizer Sourcing uses this page as a procurement decision dossier for project interfaces. It does not guarantee microbial kill, cloud stability or a juice-specific regulatory filing. A milk HTST drawing is not automatically a juice specification. No unsupported engineering or compliance guarantee is offered.

Project interfaces
Project interfaces: Design input
List juice type, Brix, pulp or fiber, particle size, incoming temperature, required pasteurization temperature, holding time in seconds, min/normal/max flow, pipe diameter, and whether the plate heat exchanger is a new module on an existing hold-and-divert arrangement. Name steam, glycol or ice water, electrical supply, footprint, quantity and destination. Identify who establishes and validates the thermal process for that juice. If the project is a replacement, record existing nozzle elevations and control I/O so factories are not guessing the interface.
Supplier answer
Require a sketch showing how the plate heat exchanger module connects to the holding tube and control arrangement, including regeneration, final heating and cooling sections. Ask where diversion and differential-pressure conditions are monitored, how holding is kept when flow changes, gasket compatibility with acidic juice, and access for inspection. Integrity-test method and CIP path through pulp-prone channels should be written, not implied.
Open deviation
Typical gaps: quoting extra plate area without a hold-tube check; omitting flow-diversion response on pulp blockage; treating a dairy regeneration ratio as if it applied to a juice with different viscosity; leaving filler or deaerator interfaces unnamed. Keep those items on an open list until the named factory answers. Public handbook figures for milk lines remain orientation only; they are not juice validation and do not create affiliation with any manufacturer.
